Q&A follows the screening

Woody and Hank have been friends since seeing Star Wars in '77. Though a Star Wars fan as a child, Woody has been beaten down by life.  Divorced and working two jobs to pay medical bills for his terminally ill Son, life holds no magic or adventure for him anymore.  To him, Star Wars is just another movie.

However, at the request of his Son, Woody must travel to Indianapolis to find George Lucas at the “Star Wars Celebration II” and hand-deliver a letter. Woody's Son hopes it will convince Lucas to continue making Star Wars films - just for his Dad.  One thing leads to another and Woody ends up accidentally kidnapping Mr. Lucas. He then finds himself in the middle of a great adventure with the Star Wars movie-making empire hanging in the balance.

Fans and non-fans alike will enjoy this movie.  For the Star Wars fanboy this movie has a million-and-one in-jokes, for everyone else it has hundreds.

Not to be mistaken for a fan-movie, Saving Star Wars is a funny film.  This film nearly didn't make it to SCI-FI-LONDON, made for only about $50,000, "Saving Star Wars" does not have the slick polish of larger-budgeted films or a ground-breaking experimental feel normally exhibited at the festival, but the movie's quality can not be denied, "It has one of the wittiest scripts and most endearing characters wehave seen in a long time. The production quality may be less than 100 percent. But the content is 110. We've watched it over and over and love it.

Dave (Vader) Prowse, who appears in the movie as a version of himself will be present to introduce the movie.   The screening is followed by a Q&A session

You will laugh out loud and days later remember the jokes.. this is a bloody funny film
