William Shatner stars as Marc, a soldier of pure heart who has just returned home injured from the war. He becomes the target of Kia, a beautiful female demon, who has become bored with taking the lives of corrupt men.

Kia sets out to seduce Marc but ends up falling in love, angering her sister demon and forcing her to summon the Incubus to wreak revenge.

Okay, a black and white, low-budget film in Esperanto that has 'Kirk' in the lead might sound like enough reason to fall about laughing... be prepared for a surprise!

Incubus is a film-noir of exceptional strength. Dark and eerie, the close camera work, natural lighting and performances by all involved help this film achieve a very European feel.

Conrad Hall is the Cinematographer... the BAFTA award winner for American Beauty. Hall is a 2 time Academy Award winner and 9 time nominee and some call the best Cinematographer in the history of film.

Recently restored in the USA by the Sci-Fi Channel and now available on DVD, this movie is worth watching.

Whatever your reasons for seeing it, to see Shatner act, to see people talk a language few of us know or because you love b/w film, Incubus will stay long in your memory.
