Moon wins at BIFA

At the 12th British Independent Film Awards (BIFA) held in London on Sunday December 6 it was British science fiction film MOON that took away two of the big prizes of the evening: Best British Independent Film and The Douglas Hickox Award for best debut director. After last year's winner SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE went on to clean up the major awards ceremonies it would be great to see this small, intelligent Brit genre film follow suit.

Jones was not at the ceremony, but I managed to speak to the ecstatic producers after the awards, before they headed off to celebrate. Listen here.
