STARRING
Jon Favreau, Joey Lauren Adams, Daryl Hannah, Rachel Leigh Cook, Sean
Bean and Kelsey Grammer SYNOPSIS. Acclaimed writer/director Jon Favreau stars as a struggling actor about to enter a weirdly comic twilight zone. With an air of Donnie Darko and The Big Lebowski the movie weaves itself around John Person (Favreau) entrapping him in intrigue and a serious of bizarre events that occur in the middle of the desert involving blue suitcases, a bowling bowl bag, an Indian named Bob, and the Cowboy. John is sent to do a simple job of delivering a blue suitcase to the Cowboy. As expected everything goes awry from the very beginning. It is a fresh movie and shows how simplicity makes for an excellent movie. It happens in the desert, where the weather is normal, the day is light, and the night is dark. There are no over the top special effects but it has an excellent soundtrack. There are just people interacting due to circumstances that seem to be beyond their control. Although this is a free event you do still need to call the Curzon and book a ticket. If you do not collect them at least 30 mins before the performance we shall give them away. |
