The long awaited finale to the Neon Genesis Evangelion series. Forget Death or Rebirth - this is the one.

Seele, the secret international organization seeking to bring about a new state of human existence by means of their Human Completion project, has assembled their forces.

The invasion of Central Dogma commences. In order to protect the Eva pilots from assassination, Asuka is launched in Unit-02, Major Misato, NERV's Operations chief, desperately tries to persuade Shinji to join the fay, but his reluctance leaves Asuka Facing Seele's nine production model Evas alone.

Ikari Gendo, NERV's commander, rushes to begin his program for Human Completion before Seele gains the upper hand. Old rivalries are resolved and startling new revelations are made as humanity's Final Judgement approaches, but the ultimate fate of mankind rests neither with Seele, nor Gendo, but within the delicate mind of Shinji Ikari

For the uninitiated, NEON GENESIS EVANGELION was a 26-episode TV series. The main thread of the Eva story is that of the fall and rise of 14-year old Ikari Shinji. Shinji's father Gendou heads "Nerv," a final-option defense organization that "Seele" (a sort of world oversight committee) created to defend the earth against what are described as Angels.
This defense is realised as a series of fourteen giant "robots," called "Evas," each of which requires a special pilot. Shinji is the pilot of Eva unit one.
