A real gem of a movie. 12 years after a plague has decimated the world
population, survivors are interviewed about how they now live.

Set in the San Francisco bay area, the film explores, in often humorous ways, how people might cope.

We witness the impatience of the younger
generation with their elders' nostalgia, attempts to administer justice, a new sexual politics (how do you procreate now it's a numbers game?), and the pseudo-religious beliefs adopted by some of those 'chosen' to survive.

No zombies, no special effects, this film gently examines how we might start
again, left to our own devices. Dare you to come out of the cinema not
talking about the issues this film raises.

At once epic and intensely personal, the film explores the strange and often humorous ways that people cope with devastating loss

Highly recommended.
