Programmed by Nick Walker, Film Industry Organisations and the ICA.
The Film Salon is London's leading monthly forum where various topical themes that affect the UK's film community are discussed by a panel of filmmakers and film industry professionals.

The Salon focuses on sci-fi movies that do not have spaceships, loads of star
backgrounds, robots and other computer generated expenses - Low-No budget sci-fi salon if you like! Effects can easily be generated on cheap computers, software is easily available with some fantastic results achieved.

Movies that do not rely on special effects or very low budget effects to tell a sci-fi / fantasy story can be really rewarding so we'll take a look at script development and
styling as well as perception of the genre, one of the biggest money-makers there is.
