Czech filmmaker Eugen Liska (2nd from left) who shot the documentary of this year’s SCI-FI-LONDON Film Festival was recently awarded second place in the Branded Short Film section of the 2009 Young Directors Awards in Cannes (a side event of the Cannes Lion) for his trailer for the Shockproof Film Festival (below).
