stand up comedy at sci-fi-london

In space everyone can hear you laugh!

booking for oktoberfest

Join us at the Apollo Piccadilly on Sat 24th October to see London's finest stand up and sketch comedians.
Ahead of our Mystery Science Theater 3000 all-nighter we warm the house up with a live comedy show.

We can’t promise all the material will be sci-fi related (in fact we hope it won’t be!) but these brilliantly funny and inventive folk will give us something special.

Our comedians are:

Sara Pascoe
With numerous TV appearances and awards under her belt, Sara has been described as “Russell Brand minus the libido" by the Evening Standard, and as Chortle Magazine said "a comic who can get Nietzsche and cunnilingus into the same breath has to be applauded"

Mould and Arrowsmith
These charismatic performers are unashamedly intelligent.  They present sketches about mathematics and grammar, but don’t panic – they’re incredibly well-judged and expertly performed so as not to be either patronising or incomprehensible.
The Guardian said “Deviously clever. Mould and Arrowsmith are utterly unique and laugh-out-loud funny”.

Lou Sanders
A tireless Edinburgh Fringe performer, Lou was runner-up in this year's MySpace Comedy Awards. She's a mixture of sweet and wrong that has won over every audience that has seen her.

Rob Deb
Rob is extremely tuned in to the nuances of geek culture, he celebrates our strengths, our passion for life and the common gel that bonds us all together. Q’aPla!

Mark Restuccia
A reviewer at said of Mark “His act was like a Royal toilet - always polished but often filthy”' He has the verve and great confidence of a seasoned pro.

James Acaster  (compere)
James’ comedy is delivered in a genuine and honest manner, often focussing on his own personal weaknesses as well as all the little things he finds to be unusually thrilling. Mild-mannered James is the perfect host.

Tickets cost £10 and include a free beer.  If you buy any all-nighter ticket you can buy a comedy ticket at the concessionary rate of £8.  Call 020 7451 9944 or click to
