THE RULES
The minimum requirements:
you will need some (not all) of the following
- digital video camera (miniDV, DVCam etc)
- digital editing equipment (premiere, final cut, editDV, iMovie etc)
- digital animation software (Flash/Quicktime Pro
- Image editing software (Photoshop, Fireworks etc)
NB: We cannot supply any equipment or facilities for the competition!!!
The basic rules:
Are very simple…
- All films must be completed and received at our offices by 1 December 2004
- Each organisation must register and complete our entry form to take part
- Each movie must have a minimum of two people/characters in the cast
- Each film must be no longer than five minutes (excluding titles and credits)
- The movie must be copyright cleared for music and any 3rd party footage
- Your actors must sign a release form for taking part in the production
- Everyone taking MUST have permission from Parents and Head Teachers (where necessary)
- Each film must include Title and credits
- Each film must be delivered on MiniDV, CD-ROM or DVD (see the FAQ for other
formats)
Submitting a film grants the organiser complete, worldwide, non-exclusive rights to the finished film
