Dragon Hunters

Dragon Hunters Main Image

Like many of the recent blockbuster animated films, DRAGON HUNTERS is full of humour aimed squarely at us grown-ups… well, big kids.

This beautifully animated feature is voiced by Forest Whitaker (LAST KING OF SCOTLAND) and Rob Paulsen (TENAGE MUTANT NINJATURTLES).

The world has become a vast conglomerate of islands of varying size and shape. The lands are populated with ruthless rogues, surly peasants and illiterate, petty lords whose main concerns revolve around two fundamental rules: eat and don’t get eaten. GWIZDO (Paulsen) and LIAN-CHU (Whitaker) are two ‘average’ dragon hunters, who dream of buying a farm where they can chill out and raise mussels.

But then they meet ZOE (Mary Matilyn Mouser), a young girl determined to help her Great Uncle Arnold fight THE WORLD EATER, a terrible dragon who rises and feeds every 30 seasons. Living in terror at the thought of World Eater’s return she persuades them to help.

Nobody has been able to conquer World Eater – in fact nobody’s ever returned alive to tell how the fight went. Together the three friends set out on the most unusual adventure.

Big bucket of popcorn recommended.
