The Last Line

The Last Line Main Image

'THE LAST LINE' touches the hearts and minds of all audiences, not just Star Wars fans. Audiences at screenings will laugh throughout the film and talk about it long after they have seen it.

Camping out for ten days becomes more than just a bid for a good seat as Star Wars fans connect in line for the last time, and for the last film.

'THE LAST LINE' captures the hilarious, quirky, and sometimes bittersweet experiences of Star Wars fans' last 10 day camp-out in line to screen the final installment of the Star Wars series, an end to a tradition that has spanned 30 years when the first Star Wars movie opened in 1977.

The documentary profiles campers throughout the 10-day camp-out waiting to see the first screening of 'Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith' in May, 2005 in front of a movie theater in Newport Beach, California, and follows up two years later in Spring, 2007 with some of the original campers, marking the 30th anniversary of the Star Wars movie franchise.
